TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PAYMENT: an initial deposit
will be required to
reserve a place on any of our tours. Full payment is
generally due 60 days later.
For reservations made less than 60 days before the tour, full payment will be required
at the outset.
All payments must be made in pounds sterling, cheques payable to Jones-Rowe Opera
Tours Company Ltd; for overseas clients, payment should be made with a sterling
Bankers Draft.
PRICE INCLUSIONS: as
shown on tariff page.
FOREIGN CURRENCY EXCHANGE RATE: because of the vagaries of
international currency markets and the time period involved in planning bookings, the
directors reserve the right to make a supplementary charge to compensate for foreign
currency exchange fluctuations if necessary.
CANCELLATION: for cancellation by the clients, the
following charges will apply:
Cancellation 60 days or more before the tour- Initial deposit.
Cancellation 30 – 59 days before the tour-50% of total cost.
Cancellation less than 30 days before the tour-full price
The tour is sold as a package, and no refunds are made if clients
choose to omit any part of the tour. Cancellations can be accepted only by e-mail or in
writing.
INSURANCE: we recommend trip cancellation insurance, and
that clients sign up for it as soon as they have made a reservation.
HEALTH INSURANCE: we strongly recommend health insurance is taken up covering the all regions of the world to be visited.. Most general travel/health insurance policies exclude N America, so it is worth re-reading the terms of your current policy and making the relevant alterations to add N American cover, if not already provided for.
CONDITIONS: Jones-Rowe Opera Tours Co Ltd and its agents
are not responsible for accident, death, injury, loss, detention, annoyance, irregularity,
or delay caused by the hotel, transportation company or third party, or resulting from
quarantine, illness, weather, strike, terrorist act, act of nature, failure of
transportation company, disturbance, government restrictions or regulations, change in
transit or hotel service, mechanical failure or other causes over which we have no
control. Full responsibility for vehicles used for tours or transfers rests with the
operating companies. Reasonable changes in the routing, transit companies, hotels and
sight-seeing services might be made if deemed necessary or advisable for the comfort and
well-being of the clients. Jones Rowe Opera Tours Co Ltd assumes no responsibility for
loss, theft, damage or accident to client baggage. Jones Rowe Opera Tours Co Ltd reserves
the right to refuse tour client status either before departure or during the tour, to any
person whose behaviour interferes with the operation of the tour or the health, safety or
general welfare of other tour clients.
IN APPLYING FOR A PLACE ON THE TOUR, THE CLIENT IS DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
