The Jones-Rowe Opera Tours Company
Limited creates luxury VIP opera tours to exotic locations which have been well
researched. Tours featured will include all the operas of the leading composers with
regular specialist tours to significant stagings of the work of Richard Wagner.
Guests will stay in deluxe hotels, personally selected and checked by the directors or unique private accommodation, and will receive first class treatment starting from being personally greeted at the airport, with limousine transfer to the hotel. The tours will feature champagne receptions, opportunities to meet members of the casts and back-stage crew, and in some cases a personal escort. The company has recruited a number of international opera experts as consultants.
Tours will often be accompanied by at least one of the directors' to bring their personal experience as guides and offer a unique experience to clients.
In 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 we had guided tours to La Fenice in Venice, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the two day Ring in Cologne, Wagner Woche in Berlin, La Scala-Milan weekend, and bespoke tours to see Wagner performances in Amsterdam and other cities around the world. The opera festival at Bayreuth was also available to our clients.

BERLIN
Friday 10th - Monday 13th February - a very special weekend including the unique, sparkling Komische Opera Ball
Friday 10th - afternoon welcome tea party, followed by La Traviata at Deutsche Oper
Saturday 11th - free day for shopping or sightseeing, evening the Komische Ball - black tie for gentlemen, ball gowns for the ladies. Full dinner and dancing to the Komische orchestra, and lots more.
Sunday 12th - opera brunch, free evening
Monday 13th - Last minute shopping, check out of hotel (but extra nights can be arranged)
Price for this fully accompanied tour includes best seats for La Traviata, tickets for the ball, Sunday brunch, hotel bed and breakfast and all transfers, €750* per person sharing, €875* single use of room.
BAYREUTH BY THE SEA!
Barcelona Tuesday 4th - Friday 7th September 2012 -
an extraordinary opportunity to be part of Bayreuth's only tour away from their home. All performances are given in the Liceu Opera House, but please note these are concert performances, not fully staged. We have secured best seats for all performances.
Tuesday 4th - afternoon welcome tapas party, followed by Hollander
Wednesday 5th - afternoon guided tour of La Sagrada Familia, evening performance of Lohengrin
Thursday 6th - free day for sightseeing or shopping, evening performance of Tristan und Isolde
Friday 7th - Last minute shopping, check out of hotel
